The NEMA PET Small Animal Phantom has 3 distinct sections: a hot spot section with 5 hole of different diameters; a uniformity section; and a section with two small separately fillable chambers, one for water, one for air. This allows the user to measure image quality as well as the accuracy of both attenuation and scatter correction.
