The PM5000P series monitors are designed to monitor gamma or neutron or gamma and neutron radiation in vehicles and luggage at various checkpoints. Radiation monitors can have single-pole or two-pole configurations, depending on site requirements, and can be installed indoors or outdoors.

Radiation observers can be installed at border crossings, railway and pedestrian crossings, customs checkpoints to prevent unauthorized penetration of radioactive sources into the country or restricted areas, nuclear power plant checkpoints (NPPs), nuclear industry facilities, nuclear waste disposal and warehouses, checkpoints in banks, offices.
